POM homopolymers

The Polyacetal Homopolymer (POM H) Sustarin® H, often known on the market as ‘Delrin’, the brand name of the raw material manufacturer, has a slightly higher density, stiffness and strength compared to Sustarin® C. The chemical resistance, in particular the hydrolysis resistance of Sustarin® H is significantly worse than that of the copolymer.

POM (polyoxymethylene, also known as polyacetal or acetal) is a semi-crystalline, thermoplastic material, which is characterised by its good mechanical properties, high dimensional stability and excellent sliding and wear behaviour.
